A man from Elizabeth, New Jersey was sentenced yesterday to a 14-year sentence with 7 years mandatory before parole eligibility for the charges stemming from a drug arrest. However, this wasn't just any arrest or any defendant. Aggravated Assault of a Policer in Plainfield NJ

A Union County man from Plainfield was indicted on charges today after he allegedly assaulted two police officers during a drug arrest. According to the police report, the defendant tried to punch, bite and spit at the cops after he was stopped and then took off running to try and lose the police on foot.
